  • PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

    This valve consists of a main valve, a pressure relief/holding pilot valve, a needle valve, a ball valve, and a pressure gauge to form a hydraulic control connection system. It utilizes hydraulic automatic operation and can be used as both a pressure relief valve and a holding valve. When used as a pressure relief valve, it can maintain the water supply pressure below the set safety value; Used as a pressure holding valve, it can maintain the upstream water pressure of the main valve above the set value and maintain the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve. This product utilizes hydraulic self control and does not require other devices or energy sources. It is easy to maintain and has multiple uses for one valve. This series of valve products is widely used in water supply network systems such as high-rise buildings, living areas, fire protection, and urban water supply engineering.

    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    1. Pressure relief valve: When the pressure relief/holding pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure relief state, water flows through the needle valve, main valve control room, guide pipe A, pressure relief/holding pilot valve, and guide pipe B to the outlet. At this time, the main valve is in the open state. When the inlet pressure exceeds the safety value set by the pressure relief/holding valve, the pressure relief valve will automatically open and release some water through the ball valve to relieve pressure in the pipeline. When the pressure returns to a safe value, the pressure relief valve automatically closes. When working as a pressure relief valve, the ball valve is always open.

    Installation and debugging

    1. Turn on the water pump and check if the pressure gauge on the pressure relief valve has the required pressure relief value. If it is not the required pressure relief value, debugging is necessary.

    2. First, turn on the water pump and loosen the adjustment screw shown in the diagram to the top. Check if the pressure gauge value is 0, then slowly tighten the screw downwards and observe the value of the pressure gauge at the back until it reaches the desired set pressure value.

    If the pipeline pressure is unstable, it will cause the pressure gauge pointer to continuously swing. We can adjust it to the center position of the pressure gauge pointer swing.

    After adjustment, to ensure that the pressure relief value is within the set value, the water pump can be repeatedly turned on to check if the pressure relief valve is releasing pressure.

    5. Note: It is normal for the pressure relief valve to drain during the pressure regulation process.

    6. The needle valve on the pressure relief valve mainly controls the speed of pressure relief and quick closing. The larger the needle valve is opened, the slower the pressure relief speed and the faster the closing speed; If the opening is small and the pressure relief speed is fast, the closing will be slow, so it is recommended to open it smaller.
