Sensitive opening and closing under low pressure difference: The ball has low friction during movement, responds quickly to small pressure changes (positive pressure difference), and opens quickly; When the flow direction changes, it can quickly close at a very low pressure difference.
Strong ability to handle particles or viscous media: The rolling motion of the sphere is not easily trapped by small particles (compared to hinged swing or valve disc that requires precise guidance for lifting). Special wear-resistant materials can be used for spheres and valve seats to adapt to abrasive media.
Relatively easy to maintain: A simple structure means that disassembly, inspection, and repair are usually more convenient.
