Structural form of ball check valve
Ball check valve is a common fluid control device mainly used to prevent medium backflow. Its structural form usually includes the following main parts:
1. * * Valve Body * *: The main body of a ball check valve is made of ductile iron material.
2. * * Sphere * *: A critical component inside a valve, typically a spherical closure. When the medium flows, the sphere will be lifted due to fluid pressure, allowing the fluid to pass through; When the fluid stops or flows in the opposite direction, the sphere will close due to gravity or the reverse flow of the medium, preventing the medium from flowing back.
3. * * Sealing ring * *: Set between the sphere and the valve body to ensure no water leakage in the closed state, using EPDM material.
4. * * Valve cover * *: used to close the upper part of the valve body, usually removable for easy maintenance and repair.
5. * * Connection method * *: Ball check valves can be connected to pipelines through flanges.
6. * * Guiding structure * *: The ball check valve has a guiding device to help the ball remain stable during the opening and closing process.
The design of ball check valves aims to achieve good sealing performance and fluid passage efficiency, while also having good durability and easy maintenance.
